All of our supplement products are manufactured in the United Kingdom, to the following recognised standards:
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a set of principles required in order to conform to the guidelines recommended by agencies that control authorisation and licensing for manufacture and sale of food, drug products, and active pharmaceutical products. These guidelines provide minimum requirements that a pharmaceutical or a food product manufacturer must meet to assure that the products are of high quality and do not pose any risk to the consumer or public.
GMP covers all aspects of production from the starting materials, premises, and equipment to the training and personal hygiene of staff. Detailed, written procedures are essential for each process that could affect the quality of the finished product. There must be systems to provide documented proof that correct procedures are consistently followed at each step in the manufacturing process - every time a product is made.
The ISO 9001:2008 family of standards is an internationally established set of standards. It relates to quality management in order to help companies ensure that they meet the expected needs of their customers whilst at the same time, making sure that any regulatory requirements related to the product are strictly adhered to.
ISO 9001:2008 concentrates primarily on quality and provides the customer with confidence that efficiency is a priority and that adequate systems are in place to guarantee the customer receives an improved and superior level of service and satisfaction. ISO is independently audited and demonstrates a keen desire for companies to commit themselves maintaining quality standards.
All requirements of ISO 9001:2008 are generic and are intended to be applicable to all organisations, regardless of type, size and product provided.
